Aetheria is still the flagship world and game project in the GameCult orbit. The dedicated Quartz site at aetheria.gamecult.org is the richer long-term home for lore, essays, fiction, and world-specific publishing. Aetheria: Terminus was pitched on the old site as the first major step into the wider Aetheria universe: a distilled version of larger long-term plans delivered in a rogue-lite ARPG structure.

The core objective was simple and strong. Travel through a hostile procedurally generated galaxy, survive its unpredictable challenges, and make your way to the enigmatic Terminus. Megacorporations, hostile conditions, and the general indifference of space all stand between the player and freedom.
